Chicago-based singer-songwriter Jory Avner has been writing and performing music for over ten years, released three albums and headlined shows all across the United States and Canada. His music blends highly stylized lyricism and guitar with synth/rock soundscapes, creating an atmosphere that is deeply textured, thought-provoking, introspective, and yet succinct in terms of narratives.

His third studio album, 'Far and Away,' was released March 9th, 2018 with live performances on Radio DePaul, WZRD 88.3FM Chicago, and WRSE 88.7FM The Underbelly Hours. Jory has also been a featured artist in the Lagunitas Songwriting Showcase as well as a finalist in the Uncommon Ground Songwriting Competition several years in a row.
 

Currently, Jory performs all over the Greater Chicago area and live streams weekly on Twitch (www.twitch.tv/JoryAvnerMusic). He is working on his fourth studio album alongside multi-platinum producer, Dean Dichoso (Candlebox, Fefe Dobson, American Idol, Netflix), with the current single 'Plaything' released on September 16th, 2022.
